The Roger Federer Groundies - Super HD Slow Mo
Posted October 14, 2009 – 10:40 am in: Pegasus Internet Training ProgramHere is some excellent footage of one of the best forehands in the history of Tennis. Roger Federer’s smooth style and perfect technical execution allows him to really wallop the ball.
When it comes to training a tennis player, I try to emphasis having strong muscles that run up and down the arm, a strong barrel around his turning axis known as the core, and perfect balance. All of which Federer is demonstrating in this video.
Key points to look at are Federer’s racket face angle through out the stroke. How he uses his shoulders and whole body effectively throughout the stroke, and his perfect, yoga like balance.
At www.hi-techtennis.com you can see some more videos like this, of all of today’s great players. This type of visual instruction is invaluable. Video your own strokes and compared them today’s top players.
