The Offense Defense Drill

Posted August 11, 2009 – 4:41 pm in: Tennis Instruction

Here is our tennis drill of the week and it is called Offense/Defense.

Here is Robby Ginepri at The Olde Towne Racquet Club, in Atlanta GA.

The objective of the drill is to work on pounding balls consistently to one corner of the court.

After you hit a forceful shot, more often than not, you have to be able to punish the floater, and take full advantage of the point.

It was hot and humid today in Atlanta, and at the end of a solid 90 mins of hitting, this drill can test your stamina. Robby did a great job in moving well, and hitting each shot as though it was his last…

Open preparation is going great so far!!!
