Many clients of mine want to know what to eat before they come to the gym. Some of them are in a rush to get there and not have time to prepare a meal, while some just simply have no clue as to what to eat. Well, I would like to suggest to you that a great alternative is the Starbuck’s Oatmeal with all the fixings. Fixings include raw walnuts, brown and golden raisins, and brown sugar. When I was racing my bicycle, I always could count on feeling fresh and light on the bike. I called it “Rocket Fuel”!
The Oatmeal itself contains 140 calories. I like to stay away from dairy products and eat it plain with just the fixings. The natural sugar in the raisins gives it a great taste that will make you lick every morsel from the bowl. If you happen to get coffee with it, I recommend Pike’s Place Blend, and again, stay away from the creme and sugar. If you need to grab a bite before you train or play your sport, I highly recommend this quick and light breakfast snack.

    LOVE Starbucks oatmeal, this stuff (especially with the 3 toppings available) tastes amazing, top notch choice…to go with that venti Pauly P latte!!
