Quick and Easy - Anita’s Broccoli

It’s no secret that broccoli is a super food. It is packed with Vitamins and Minerals. It has been my experience that broccoli has taken on a bad rap for how it tastes. This was the case with my wife Lindsay. Lindsay likes her sweets. Coke, Oatmeal Cream Pies and Snickers bars are 3 of her top 5 food groups. When we first met, the very mention of the word “Broccoli” would send goose bumps up her spine and a nauseous feeling would hit the bottom of her stomach.
Now, nearly 4 years later, she can’t get enough of it! The Secret of how I make my mom’s broccoli is simple, healthy, and tastes GREAT! It takes about 20 mins total to prepare and cook this dish. You can eat it as a side dish, or add it to pasta.
I highly recommend you try this sometime! You won’t be disappointed!
Ingrediants:
3/4 cup of Olive Oil
2 Teaspoons of Pepper
2 Teaspoons of Salt
2 Teaspoons of Garlic Powder
2 Cloves of Chopped Garlic
Preheat Oven at 385 Degrees
Cut up the broccoli into small florets and place them into a large bowl. Pour the Olive Oil all over the florets and add the rest of the ingredients. With your hands (you can use a large wooden spoon and fork) and vigorously mix them all up, making sure to spread out the olive oil evenly.
Place the broccoli into a baking dish and bake for 18 mins. The more you cook it the crispier it gets.
Bon Appetit!
