Pauly P Lateral Shuffle - Interval Training
Posted November 2, 2009 – 2:26 pm in: Amelia Island Personal Training, Coach's Corner, Pegasus Internet Training Program, Tennis FitnessAs you can see from this video, Interval Training at High Intensity, is a form of training that takes the individual into a high heart rate arena, and inflicts major pain. Having said this, I love interval training because it raises the anaerobic threshold of the individual, can be broken down into different ratios, and can be done just about anywhere. IT training will burn a massive amount of calories, and will raise your metabolism through out the day.
Like all training, over doing IT training can cause burn out and “overtraining”. Make sure to check with a physician before trying this. If you are looking to get fitter, and have a decent base, try this one out. You can always start with just a few reps and lengthen the recovery time in between intervals.
Enjoy watching me suffer! As Greg Lemond once said, “I’ve never suffered so much in my life, … but then again, I know how to suffer.”
