Last Day of Training Camp

Had a solid 3 days with the boys. They certainly needed it, and the work hopefully will pay dividends in the near future. You never know when the results will come, but your chances increase dramatically when you put in the work!
On the last day we did 90 mins on the court and about 90 mins in the gym. Baseline games, and sets were played with Sweeting taking out Kendrick 7-5. I helped Ryan with pronating through the ball on his first serve. It proved to be a big tip because both boys said he hadn’t served that well all year long.
Here is a clip of them doing a drill that Coach Greg Munoz of George Washington University likes. It’s very simple: How long does it take 2 tennis players to hit 20 groundstrokes in a row. The record for Munoz’s squadron was 24.88. After 2 attempts the boys registered a 23.5…both are excellent results.
