As expected, the kid they call White Shadow, advanced to the next round in the US Open yesterday. Up next will be one of the best players of all time, Tommy Haas.
Robert’s plan yesterday was to attack the second serve of the Argentinian and on the very first point, he did just that; ripped a backhand up the line, and came in behind it.
This action set the tone for the entire match. Robert was able to play near perfect, hard court tennis, and attacked his opponent relentlessly until he heard, “Game, Set, Match, Kendrick”.
Look for tomorrow’s match to be played on Arthur Ashe where Robert will be looking to make history, and send the good looking German, back to Florida!
