PHILADELPHIA, PA-PisaniTraining is happy to annouce that George Washington men’s tennis sophomore Chris Kushma was named Atlantic 10 Player of the week for the first time this season.
Kushma is riding a six-match winning streak at the No. 4 singles going into today’s home match against UMBC at the Mount Vernon Tennis Center. He has grown in leaps and bounds this season and his training with Pisanitraining is improving by the week.
Kushma posted a 3-0 record last week against Navy, No. 56 Radford and Longwood to increase his season singles record to 7-3. His record shows signs of consistency and strength.
Kushma and teammate Yan Levinski went 2-1 in No. 2 doubles last week as well. Check back soon for more updates on Kush and the GW squadron.
