Inverted Bosu Ball Squat with Kendo

Posted April 20, 2009 – 11:52 am in: Pegasus Internet Training Program

One of the best balancing exercises that you can do for your lower body and core is the Inverted Bosu Ball Squat.

Here is Kendo executing this one nicely. You can see he has excellent balance as he holds the 8 pound med ball out in front with his arms parallel to the ground. Make sure to keep the flat side of the bosu ball flat and parallel to the ground as well. Doing this is great for strengthening your ankles and your hamstrings.

This exercise can be challenging for beginners just starting out. Don’t be surprised if your legs start shaking! Be sure to clear any sharp corners or objects that are near you just in case you stack it!

Start off with a quarter squat and work your way down to 90 degrees bend of your legs.

For seasoned veterans, try doing 3 sets of 16 with added resistance.

Enjoy!
