Exercise of the Week - Single Leg, Single Arm Deadlift

This video was shot in Santa Monica, along Ocean Drive. This is a very popular spot for personal trainers to train their clients year round. Although it can get quite chilly there, the view , air, and, ambiance, provide for a beautiful setting.

Rachel Cannon, from Hollywood, CA, is a personal trainer and Yoga Master. Her form here is impeccable and she demonstrates very good balance and flexibility.

This exercise really fires the glutes and hamstrings. If you load up with weight, you really can gain massive hip strength.

Try doing this next to a chair so that you can maintain balance. With practice, you can get better and better, and you will see your balance and mobility increase!
