Can Lance Fight Back?

lancenavarro1 I don’t think so. After losing nearly 3 minutes in yesterday’s mountain stage, Lance Armstrong will have to pull off a miracle ride to recover such a time deficit.

The Giro is just into the first week of its 3 week length but the selection was made on the last mountain climb as to who was going to be a contender.

Lance knew before the race even started that there was a very good chance of him losing time to the leaders on the final climb of yesterday’s stage…he was right. Ivan Basso, (who you can follow on Twitter), pushed the pace at the front and showed all of Italy who has the biggest punch in this years Giro.

My hunch is that he will work for Levi and Chris to an overall victory or at least a podium finish. This will be the first time that Lance has ever had to serve as what the French call a “domestique”. That is the guy who works for his team leader.

This type of work, is going to get Lance where he wants to be: Read to win a Record 8th Tour de France…Armstrong fans, keep your chin up, everything is going according to plan for the Armstrong Camp!

Perhaps it will serve as a healthy dose of humility in preparation for the Tour de France.

I don’t think so buddy….no humiliation with what he is doing…and that is giving it his all and setting a great example of how to LIVESTRONG!

Humility means the state of being humble, not humiliated. Subtle difference, but a big one! :)

What I meant was that this loos could humble him and keep him more focused as a result.

Thanks for the clarification Vin Mizz! Always there to help me pick out the finer literary details and provide me with a healthy dose of humility! :)
