Agility Drill of the Week - Lateral Bosu Ball Shuffle

Posted October 13, 2009 – 10:25 am in: Amelia Island Personal Training

I posted this exercise before of White Shadow performing this agility drill. I like this one so much, I thought I’d post it again, but this time with my partner, Vin Miller of Natural Bias.com, performing it.

Vin was an avid and successful ski racer, and as you can see here, he has great form moving side to side. This is a very common movement in all sports, except perhaps golf.

This exercise can be done just about anywhere. You can time it, or count out reps.

You will really feel your legs working here and I recommend you challenge yourself by increasing the speed and the distance you travel away from the ball. Wear a heart monitor and watch your heart rate elevate, making this one an excellent interval workout as well. Try doing this for 20 secs with 15 seconds and rest and the repeating.

Enjoy!
